Placing banners in towns and standees at theaters is a regular thing, so PVP Cinemas took a new way to endorse their forthcoming venture Oopiri starring Nagarjuna and Karthi in lead roles.
Thoza (Oopiri Tamil version) posters are used on pop corn buckets at multiplexes in Chennai, which is a good branding exercise from PVP Cinemas to popularize their summer release. The same pop corn publicity in Hyderabad multiplexes is expected soon from the makers.
Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the hilarious drama has Tamanna Bhatia playing female lead. While Nagarjuna plays a wheelchair bound quadriplegic, Karthi will be seen as his care-taker in the film, which is a free-make of acclaimed French drama, The Intouchables. Leggy Lasso Anushka Shetty will be seen in a cameo as Nagarjuna's ex-girlfriend in the picture.
In the meantime, Nagarjuna is coming up with Soggade Chinni Nayana for this Sankranthi. The feel good family entertainer directed by Kalyan Krishna will see lights on January 15th.
