Recently, a case was filed against Jr NTR's Nannaku Prematho makers over a poster of the film which showed heroine Rakul Preet Singh in an obscene posture against the backdrop of religious verses. The makers have immediately changed background in the image and gave appropriate clarification through a press release.

In another incident, a dubbing artist has booked a case against dubbing in-charge of the Sukumar directorial.
A 26-years old dubbing artist lodged a complaint against dubbing in-charge of Nannaku Prematho- B Srinivas and AP Movie Dubbing Artist Association president BV Subba Rao at Banjara Hills police station, for allegedly harassing her and other women artists in the film by making vulgar comments.
According to this dubbing artist, Subba Rao suspended her membership from the association for a year, since she had opposed him as president of the association. The lady also informed the police that, the duo was harassing her mentally and due to which she had attempted suicide in the past.
