Devoid of the mixed talk, NTR’s Nannaku Prematho is doing thumping business all over. The film now stands fourth in the all time collections after the first week behind Baahubali, Srimanthudu and Attarintiki Daredhi.

The overseas collections have also been super strong as the film is set tor cross the 2 million mark pretty soon. Right from the day one, NTR’s performance has been lauded big time and the way Sukumar has portrayed NTR in a new avatar has been liked the class audience big time.

After about a month of speculation, actors Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra have been chosen as the brand ambassadors for the government's 'Incredible India' campaign.

The selection of the two actors follows the Centre's decision to discontinue the contract of actor Aamir Khan, who had angered the BJP-led government with his remarks on perceived intolerance in the country.

Khan had promoted Indian tourism for a decade as the brand ambassador.

When Soggade will beat NKP..!!

Sankranthi storm is not yet settled down as all the four films are giving surprises each day with collections in different locations. Nannaku Prematho was strong in US for long weekend and now the tables are soon to be turned, as Soggade is taking over the market slowly.

Nannaku Prematho went decent for its classy plot and mouth talk with 192 screens until Monday. The film experienced huge dip in collections of almost 60%, be it for busy weekday and reduced screens also.  

On the other-side, Nagarjuna starrer Soggade Chinni Nayana began well for ts 3 day weekend with 83 screens and has to see a drop in collections for around 35% which is much less than that of Nannaku Prematho. 

If numbers are to go by, a per screen average of Nannaku Prematho ends at $499 while Soggade is almost near the double of it, $893. 

Tuesday too was not a pretty good day for both films as they had to see the collections going down, but the collection digits of both the films are closer by the day end. So if market of Soggade is getting better each day when compared to Nannaku Prematho, Soggade will take over the latter very soon.

Lovely Sukumar's real love story..!!

For a sensitive filmmaker who beautifully captures love scenes on the silver screen, it is not surprising that Sukumar too has a love story of his own. In his latest interview following the success of Nannaku Prematho, Sukumar went nostalgic about his love story which later ended up in a happy marriage.

During the release of his debut film Aarya in 2004, Sukumar was at Sudarshan Theater at RTC X Roads and a young girl from nowhere approached Sukumar upon knowing from her friends that he was the director of the film. She asked him what was his job on the film since all the work was done by the technicians and actors.

This unexpected question surely hurt Sukumar, who patiently explained her the challenging role of a director in making a film. Impressed, the girl asked for his autograph. Instead, a cheeky Sukumar gave her his mobile number asking her to keep in touch. Needless to say, love blossomed between them in no time.

Sukumar further revealed that he married the same girl, Hamsini, in 2009 much against her parent's wish. Apparently, her parents, who didn't want the groom from film industry, were fine with Sukumar after marriage. The couple is blessed with two children, a girl and a boy.

On a funny side, Nani reveals why he was afraid of Hanu Raghavapudi before making this film, as the director would make his characters deliver their every dialogue in shout, like he did for Andala Rakshasi. But concluding the same remark, Nani says Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha is a complete shocking contrast of Andala Rakshasi. 
Praising the knowledge and workaholic nature of Hanu, Nani fondly calls him as 'Pani Pichodu', who never even cares of bleeding injuries during the shoot. But now, Hanu is more like a brother to Nani.

Film on Hardhik Patel..!!

A local production house is making a Gujarati-language film on the life of Hardik Patel and the OBC quota agitation of which he has become the face.

The film, titled 'Power of Patidar' and being produced by Kesar Bhavani Film Production would be released after three months. Releasing the poster of the film, director Mahesh Patel said its budget was Rs 1 crore. We are at present working on the script of the film which revolves around Hardik Patel and the agitation he is leading... we will start shooting by February, he said.

The film is being produced by Dipak Soni while Sanjay Dev has been signed to play Hardik's role. Soni said that Hardik, who is lodged in Lajpore jail here, had given oral consent for the film. Hardik as well as other leaders of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti have given us permission for the film, he said. Director Mahesh Patel said the film will trace Hardik's entire life journey.

Our script will be based on real life events. It will have Hardik's personal life, incidents which inspired him to start the agitation, how he fought against government and went to jail, etc. We are planning to release the film after three months, he said. We want to use real-life locations to make the film more authentic. We will seek government's permission to shoot at the locations where protests took place. We have also planned to meet the Chief Minister Anandiben Patel to seek her permission for the location shooting, said Patel.

The makers as well as the lead actor Sanjay Dev are also planning to meet Hardik in jail. I want to meet Hardik so that I can learn about his mannerisms and inculcate his personality into my character. I am also watching videos of his speeches, said Dev.

Balayya story for Aditya 999.!!

Nandamuri Balakrishna is not taking time to start his 100th project. The actor who is enjoying the success of Dictator has said to announce details of the landmark project in a week days. Balayya also informed that, he has given line story for Aditya 999 Max.

'I narrated a line story to Singeetham Srinivasa Rao gaaru and told him to develop it. In fact, it won't take much time for me to get an idea on story. It took just 5 minutes to cook up the story. When I narrated the story, Singeetham was stunned.' However, Balakrishna clarified that he will get clarity on his 100th film in few days, whether it will be Aditya 999 Max or with Boyapati Srinu.

When asked whether his 100th movie will have space for his son Mokshagna, Balayya replied saying, 'For now, I don't exactly say, which project would I take up first. If things work out, Mokshagna would act in my next film, if not it would take some time for him to make entry into industry. I won't give any suggestions for him regarding films. I only tell him to do as many as films in a calendar year.'

Balakrishna expressed his dislike over current generation stars for not taking up even two films a year. He promised to do at least 3 to 4 films in 2016.

Nani's audio launch aimed at Mahesh's fanfare..!!

14 Reels Entertainment is back in action.  The audio of their film Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha, starring Nani, Mehrene and Sampath in important roles, was released today (Jan 20).  The same was unveiled to loud cheers of fans by Mahesh Babu.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh said, "14 Reels is like my home banner.  I wish them very best from the bottom of my heart."  Nani came in for praise from Mahesh.  "I saw your film Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy and I must say your performance was outstanding."  He wished Hanu Raghavapudi (director) all the best, saying, "I have heard a lot about you.  The industry needs talent like you."  Yuvaraj, the film's cinematographer, is Rathnavelu's disciple.  Addressing him, Mahesh said, "I remember working with you for 1:Nenokkadine.  You would be present for every single day of the shoot."

Naga Chaitanya finds his another girl

The third lead for actor Naga Chaitanya in his upcoming film which is a remake of Malayalam hit Premam has been finalized. According to reports, director Chandoo Mondeti has roped in Malayalam actress Madonna Sebastian as one of the female leads in this coming-of-age love story.
Though the names of Rakul Preet Singh, Regina Cassandra and Aisha Sharma were initially considered by the makers, things never materialized and they have finally settled in for Madonna Sebastian. The actress will be reprising her role in the Telugu remake which is being produced by S Vamsi Krishna.

Shruti Haasan and Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran are playing the other leads in this film which also has crucial cameos of Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.

Rajini's Unique Record..!!

Released amid heavy expectations in 2014, the Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer 3D animated film, Kochadaiyaan, ended up as a huge disappointment for fans and trade people. However, thanks to Rajini’s craze, the film was dubbed into Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Hindi languages. Now, Kochadaiyaan is all set to create a unique record.
As per the latest reports, Kochadaiyaan will be the first film in 50 years to be dubbed into Kannada. The last other language film dubbed into Kannada was the iconic Telugu classic Mayabazaar in 1965.

Krishnegowda, the President of the Kannada Dubbing Film Chamber has acquired Kochadaiyaan’s dubbing rights and currently, dubbing work is in progress. The producer is also trying to rope in Ranjinikanth for the audio launch event.

It is well known that the Karnataka government does not allow dubbing films to protect its language and identity. But recently, the ban on dubbing films has been lifted by the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

"Jai Ho" actress Sana Khan, who was also named in the FIR regarding comedian Kiku Sharda, says she has gone from being a "controversy queen" to an "FIR queen" now.
"I don't do this kind of acts usually. Unfortunately, even my name is there. I don't know why the FIR was filed against me. It has been filed against four or five of us actors. I have become an FIR queen, till now I was the controversy queen. And now people keep filing FIRs against me," Sana said at an event for the Ahmedabad Blasters team of the Box Cricket League.
Sana was mentioned in the complaint filed by a follower of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who alleged that an act on TV's programme "Jashn-e-ummeed" had hurt the religious sentiments of the community.

Seductress Nayantara has become a sensation ever since she broke up with Prabhudeva. But then she failed to score a hit in Telugu post breakup though she became a big starlet in Tamil. 
Scoring a horde of hat-tricks in Tamil, Nayantara will be seen next in Venkatesh's movie under Maruthi's direction. Before this movie arrives, Nayan's recent hit "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan" is being dubbed into Telugu as "Nenu Rowdy Ne" and releases on January 29th. After consecutive flops like Krishna Vande Jagadgurum, Anamika and others in Telugu despite good reviews, Nayan will have to see if Rowdy will help or not. 

Nenu Rowdy Ne is directed by her rumoured BF Vignesh Shivan, and has Vijaya Setupathi in the lead.

Remember 2010 Bolywood film Tere Bin Laden which was directed by Abhishek Sharma? After delivering a laughing riot in 2010 director Abhishek Sharma is back with the sequel Tere Bin Laden Dead or Alive.The sequel completed its shooting and the film will hit the screens on February 19, 2016.
The trailer of the sequel was out and it started trending no time due to the hilarious content.The trailer of the sequel starts from where the original left: Uncovering the identity of Osama Bin Laden's lookalike.

This sequel of the film set against Osama Bin Laden's mysterious death followed by counter reports claiming he is alive, stirring the biggest controversy in the world. The look alikes of Laden and Obama perfectly apt for the roles.

Exclusive: Charan eyeing Independence Day..!!

Finally there are some reports coming up from Mega camp about Ram Charan and his latest movie, Thani Oruvan, remake film. From last November, rumours are being heard about this film and only now some news has come out. 
Highly placed sources revealed that Charan's new film will go for a regular shoot from February 1st week under the direction on Surender Reddy. Also the film is likely to finish its shoot in a record time and may hit theatres on August 12th, considering the August 15th holiday on Monday. 

As the film happens to be the story of a sincere cop who takes on organised crime, Independence Day release is on mind, a source said. 

Raviteja's New film called off..??

Though recently ace producer Dil Raju and Mass Raja Raviteja have partied together in Goa along with some mega heroes, it seems like their film together is not going to have a smooth sailing
Sometime back, shooting of Raviteja's next under Venu Sriram (Oh My Friend fame) direction has started, but the film's shoot go halted in no time. Rumours are then heard that Dil Raju wanted Ravi Teja to put on weight so the delay. Latest report is that this film is halted forever as Raviteja is said to be demanding more remuneration as Bengal Tiger became commercial hit. 

A source close to Dil Raju mentioned that the producer is searching for a new comedy hero for this film.
