Young Tiger NTR's 'Naannaku Prematho' hit the screens today and received above average to average reports from the audiences. NTR's uber cool and subtle performance and ultra modern stylish look with a complete change in hair and beard styles are the highlights and audiences could easily stay connected watching his performance. Rakul Preet Singh oozed out glamour. Jagapathi Babu delivered his best as a sharp-witted antagonist. Rajendra Prasad's role, though limited to a few scenes, was heart touching.
Devi Sri Pasad's tunes and BGM worked out well. Cinematography and location setting were great. Sukumar was too brainy to design numerous mind games between the hero and the villain. He got succeeded in attempting a movie which is miles away from regular commercial potboilers such that no regular comedians and action were seen in ;the movie.
But then, what went wrong in the movie is that it was a predictable story without any major twists. It's doubtful how well the audiences of B and C centers receive this 'Story of Intellectuals'. Some of the mind games in the movie may not be understood by the audiences. Especially, NTR's fans, who have been accustomed watching the movies with over the board violence mixed with bloodshed, should embrace the change of their hero and the story chosen by him. All in all, the movie has opened with packed houses and appears to be promising for record collections in this festive season.
