Popular Comedy show actor arrested

In a shocking incident, Mumbai police have booked a case under section 295 A of the Indian Penal Code (outraging religious feelings of any class by insulting it's religion or religious belief) on popular comedian, Palak of "Comedy Nights With Kapil". His original name is Kiku Sharda.

After followers of Sirsa headquartered Dera Sacha Sauda lodged a complaint against him for allegedly hurting their sentiments, police lodged the case. It is alleged that the actor hurt their religious sentiments by mimicking their sect head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in an episode of the TV show aired on December 27.
