As we reported earlier, Nagarjuna's special show of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu with Young Tiger Jr NTR was already shot and will be aired in MAA TV during Sankranthi. As per the reports, NTR has donated the winning prize money of Rs 12.5 lakhs to NTR Trust and Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, headed by Balakrishna.
Apparently, both Nagarjuna and NTR had gala time while shooting the special episode. The Manmadhudu star has stated that, he is very close to NTR's father Harikrishna gaaru and treats the Nandamuri young hero like his own family member.
"It was so much fun having Jr NTR on the show. I enjoyed the whole experience. I've known him for a very long time and his father is very close to me. Having him on the show was like having a member from the extended family," said Nagarjuna while expressing his joy of spending some delightful moments with NTR.
It may be recalled that, Nagarjuna had worked with Harikrishna in classic family entertainer Seetharama Raju. Nagarjuna just missed to work with NTR who was replaced by Karthi in Oopiri. Nag long ago expressed his wish to see his son Naga Chaitanya and NTR to star in Gundamma Katha remake.
Interestingly, both NTR and Nagarjuna are going to fight at box office for the Sankranthi with their respective films Nannaku Prematho and Soggade Chinni Nayana arriving to theaters in a gap of two days.
