Popular comedian Sapthagiri is all set to debut as a hero soon. The movie will be directed by veteran Sagar and produced by Ravi Kumar Chowdary.
In all likelihood, it will be a comic caper. Sapthagiri is having a great career currently as a comedian. So, turning hero at this point in time can turn out to be a double-edged sword.
If the movie is a success, it can lead to a flood of similar offers but an adverse result can hamper his career because giving dates as a hero means allotting maximum dates and possibly giving up on other offers.
While Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana, Vennela Kishore etc have all done hero roles in the past, it is only Sunil who completely gave up on comedy roles to turn a full-time hero.
With Sapthagiri, it can be safely assumed that he will not give up on comedy roles. Or will he?
