Like his many charities, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan donated a big amount of Rs.2.5 crores for the cause of the underprivileged in the drought stricken area in Maharashtra. The government of Maharashtra is going to conduct a medical camp for the people in this area, Jalgaon.
For supporting the cause, many pharmaceutical companies and others had come forward by giving medicines and providing doctors for treatment. Salman’s monetary help will be a big support for such a noble cause, which is going to be inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on 9th January.
The superstar is known for various charity works and the most popular one among them is his ‘Being Human’ concept to help the needy by doling out some amount through sales of the products sold under ‘Being Human’ brand.
