MEK Contestant donates Rs 25 lakh to Charity

Raavan Sharma who appeared on 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' managed to pocket a whooping Rs 25 lakhs by answering 13 questions in the popular game show. 

December 18th was a very special day in Raavan Sharma's life as he proved what he worth by participating in MEK game show. Setting a best example, The Senior Citizen donated the full amount to charity. Fixed Deposits of Rs 10 lakh each were offered for National Association for Blind & Sri Vidya Centre for Mentally Retarded on his behalf. While Raavan Sharma receives bank interest for the amount deposited till he was alive, The organizations will be able to get the total benefit only after his demise.

Raavan Sharma contributed the remaining Rs 5 lakh to an elderly women who helped him when he was in dire state in the form of fixed deposit. 

Mr. Sharma is a native of Nizamabad district. Few years ago, He shifted his base from Kurnool district in AP and settled in Lingareddy of Ellareddy Mandal. Post retirement, The pension he received was sufficient for paying the debts and for his daily expenses. Family Members distanced him but few of his friends have supported him in tough times. Today, He stood as an inspiration for Generations!
