Nenu Sailaja Had A Fantastic First Week..!!

Nenu Sailaja, the first success for Telugu Cinema in the New Year has done fantastic business in its first week at the ticket window.

As per early estimates the movie has collected a worldwide share of around Rs. 15 crore in its first week.

There was a dip in the collections during the weekdays but Nenu Sailaja has done considerably well given the bad period for movies.

Usually films don’t do well in the pre festive period which is the reason why big films always target for a festival release rather than coming in early.

Nenu Sailaja took the gamble of making use of dry period at the cinemas as there wouldn’t be tough competition and it has worked as the movie turned out to be a crowd pleaser. The collections trend indicate that Nenu Sailaja will have a solid second weekend.

In its first week, Nenu Sailaja has collected around 4 crore 80 lakhs share in Nizam and over 2.3 crore share in Ceded. It has done equally good in Andhra area with an estimated distributor share of 4.6 crore from this territory.

The film is already a big hit in overseas as it has collected around $460K in its first week. It is likely to collect decent gross in its second weekend as it is still running in good number of screens.
