Its Pay Back Time In Bollywood!

Do some of the A-listers in Bollywood have irrational fear or aversion towards Money? The developments in the past couple of days makes us believe so...!

The other day, Ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap who commands immense respect from film fraternity pledged to pay back a whooping Rs 90 crore to Fox Star Studios which produced his dud flick 'Bombay Velvet'. A press note was released by Phantom Films, a production house co-owned by Anurag, to inform Rs 10 crore was already compensated to Fox Star and the remaining amount will be paid before the end of 2016.

As per the latest buzz, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have collectively paid back Rs 15 crore to the producers of 'Tamasha' which ended as a failure inspite of garnering critical acclaim. While Ranbir contributed Rs 10 crore, Deepika has give away Rs 5 crore to support the Makers.

What happened to Bollywood Stalwarts all of a sudden? We have heard about actors/directors taking moral responsibility for failures, but never witnessed paying back to producers in cash on such a huge scale. Hats off to Anurag, Ranbir & Deepika!
