TDP has suspended Telugu Nadu Students Federation leader Srikanth Reddy. Normally this would not have made news. Srikanth Reddy is a small-time leader who wanted Akbar Bagh corporator ticket and was disappointed at being denied the ticket.
Like many leaders, he made allegations against party's Telangana leaders Revanth Reddy and Maganti Gopinath. And like many leaders in TDP, he is also related to TRS leaders. In his case, he is related to Minister Mahender Reddy.
But the party is angry that he tore down the flexi of CM's son Lokesh. The party leadership is very angry that he demanded that party leadership be handed over to Junior NTR.
This sure has rankled the party leadership, which has backed Balakrishna's film Dictator and tried to run down NTR's Nannaku Prematho.
The party is afraid that the demand for a bigger role for NTR would mean lesser role for Lokesh. Is that the real reason for Srikanth Reddy's suspension.
