Anil Kapoor's darling daughter Sonam Kapoor who recently appeared in 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' alongside Salman Khan will be next seen in a film titled Neerja. The film is a biopic on the life of airhostess Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life in saving 359 lives on board a hijacked flight to Karachi, Pakistan.
The first look poster of "Neerja" is out today and the poster showcases Sonam as Neerja Bhanot, who bravely faces a gun to her forehead. The film releases on February 19, 2016
Sonam took to Twitter to share the poster. "And here it is : The first poster of #Neerja. So proud! Film out on Feb 19," tweeted Sonam.
Neerja Bhanot was a flight attendant and she was murdered while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986.
Posthumously, she became the youngest recipient of India's highest peacetime military award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra.
