Though the makers reiterated that ‘Nannaku Prematho’ will be released as planned on January 13th, the distributors are still worried about the film since the post production is yet to be completed and the film may not go to censor as planned on 9th.
As per sources, the editing of the film has been taking time since the original run time was more than 3 hours and the director Sukumar wants it to be crisp, 2 hours 20 minutes to be precise. The dubbing work has also been just completed and the first copy should be readied by tomorrow (Jan 8th), which seems nearly impossible. The team has been working round the clock to ensure the timely release of the film.
On the other hand, NTR is going to kick-start the promotions. He already shot for ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu‘ special episode, which will be aired soon, and will also give interviews to all major media houses. Fans are keeping their fingers crossed expecting the film to be released on time. This Devi Sri Prasad musical has some big names like Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu etc acting in it. Srinivas Avasarala and Rajeev Kanakala will be seen as Tarak’s brothers. Heebah Patel will play a key role.
