The annual Vikatan Awards for the year 2015 have been announced yesterday on 7th January 2016. SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture “Baahubali:The Beginning” has bagged this prestigious Vikatan Awards 2015. Vikatan is the most popular magazine in TamilNandu which has announced the awards for the year 2015 in various categories like sports, movies etc.
Rebel star Prabhas starrer Baahubali won eight awards at the Prestigious Vikatan Awards in Tamil. Vikatan Awards are considered as one of the prestigious awards in Tamil Nadu entertainment Industry. Sathya Raj and Ramya Krishna won the award in the category of best supporting actor and actress, Ram Rajamouli and Prashanthi bags the award for best costume designer, Srinivas Mohan and Sabu Cyril for visual effect supervisor and Production designer, Senapathi Naidu and Nalla Srinu bags for special makeup. Baahubali team tweeted,” Team #Baahubali at this year’s @Vikatan Awards! #VikatanAwards2015.”
