Sachin Tendulkar recalls near-death experience from school days..!!

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Wednesday recalled a scary experience which he underwent during his school days while crossing the rail tracks here. The former India batsman was speaking at the launch of two initiatives by the Mumbai Railway Police

"Right from the age of 11, I travelled by trains in Mumbai. When I travelled, I had a kit-bag. I have also experienced jostling, being pushed in and out of trains...these experiences will stay with me," Tendulkar said. "In school, I had gone to Vile Parle to a friend's place. We -- five or six boys -- had practiced in the morning and had gone to his place for lunch. 

Ashwin's fan club to Trisha..!!

The Indian spin wizard Ravichandran Ashwin is known to be an ardent film buff whose major pastime is watching all the new Tamil releases giving preference for comedy films. In a recent interview to a popular Television channel, Ashwin also let out his great fondness for actress Trisha.

Ashwin said he was in the 8th standard when ‘Lesa Lesa’ released and he was so stumped by the heroine Trisha that along with a few friends he started a fan club for the pretty actress and used to collect photograph of hers even though the youngsters did not know at that time that they should register the club.

Sourav Ganguly's Wife met with an Accident..!!

Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly's wife Dona had a miraculous escape from a road mishap.

On Friday, A loaded truck hit Dona Ganguly's Mercedes Benz from behind at Behala Chowrasta in Kolkata, West Bengal. The incident happened when the Cricketer's Wife was on her way to bring her Daughter from school. 

Cricket: Team India Attains No. 1 Rank in Tests...!!

Team India under Virat Kohli's leadership achieved No.1 Position in the latest ICC Test Rankings released on Sunday. Thanks to South Africa's 2-0 defeat in the ongoing home series against England.  

After Virat Kohli took charge as full time captain, India won back-to-back Test series in Sri Lanka and India. While India defeated Sri Lanka 2-1, The Men-in-Blue crushed Proteas 3-0 in the recent series at home.

India is at top in the Test Rankings with 110 points. Australia is in the second position with 109 points. South Africa dropped to third position from first after defeat in the third Test match against England. Proteas haven't been able to win a Test match in the past one year. 

Even though India is currently leading the points table, Australia might makes it to the top if it wins the upcoming Test series against New Zealand. India will play Test cricket only after 5 months from now.
